You wonder sometimes if this isn't all mapped out ahead of time. Upgrade, make money on the buying. Downgrade, make money on the selling. MAYBE, they wanted to ramp it up before testifying about how Korea is killing their business. I don't see how they get away with such a forked tongue: "prices firming, stockpiles depleting, future positive; but unless they are restrained, Korea will flood the US with cheap drams." I don't get it.

Mike,

earth to davidG, earth to davidG .....

What are you talking about man, have you taken leave of your senses (evidently
not a long trip)? The reason the Lehman analyst has a 50 cent loss for this quarter
is because he's using a $3.05 price.

Nothing personal, but anybody that believes anal-ists, like Lehman, is an "IDIOT". IMO the $3.05 is wrong and I showed you a way to calculate it.

70-80% SDRAM eh?? ... actually I can't fault you on this one. That's what they
said on the confercall, i.e. "SDRAM has been about 70% of wafer starts for the
last 2 months" ... from mid-Oct. to mid-Dec right? Then you read the 10Q (page 9
again, david it's the only page you have to read, can't be that hard!) and it says
plain as day: "The Company's ramp of its SDRAM products reached 55% of
DRAM wafer starts at the end of the first quarter of 1998" ...

I told you I talked to MU, as did Larry, and they specically indicated that they are at 70-80% SDRAM and it is consistent with their conference call and 10Q. If you would read it more objectively you might understand what they are saying.

If you weren't so biased you might better understand the fundamentals.

DavidG

mike, what page was that again? hey, reality doesn't matter to some people. just repeat what they want to hear and it becomes true. i was going to buy puts but i may wait a bit. this latest pimp-a-thon may last longer than i thought. i won't overestimate the intelligence of people again ;-)
