Hi Rookie,

Used to marathons and triathlons.

Then I did centuries to keep in shape.

I had a knee injury in 2001, climbing Mount Hinchinbrook on a deer hunt.

Had some surgery, but my media meniscus never allowed me to run again.

I think all those 90 mile weeks of running wore my left knee down to bone on bone.

I'm looking into a new meniscus being replaced from a tissue donor.

Insurance doesn't cover it and just a few docks do that kind of procedure.

I have a 10 speed bike and a KLEIN mountain bike. I love mountain bike racing.

centires are long and boring , mountain bikes are thrilling.

No Rotary affiliation that I know of. Lots of bike rides in Texas.

Nice long biking season and hot in the summers.

Bob
