Not another buyout rumor, please. Unless it is confirmed by company officials, I'd rather that we leave this can of worm unopened. Leave the speculating to Maria B.

RE: Possibility for a Buyout?

>> Been thinking about a buyout lately. Just kind of speculating about who would be a good fit for IOM and with the strange number of shares trading hands lately it kind of makes me wonder if maybe IOM is in play. <<

I think it would be highly unlikely. Kim Edwards has much greater plans for this company than to just sell out to another company at $20 or $25 per share.

I don't see it happening.

(haven't read to the end of the thread yet, so apologies if this has been brought up already...)

Reseller -- long timers here know that this point has been long discussed re: IOM suitors.

Just wanted to ask Sony vapor drive advocates one more time about how this might apply to Sony's new dirve if they should manage to bring it to market at a competitive price.

It seems that the profit advantage for other box makers would have to be significantly more in including a Sony over IOM product because every Sony drive they would sell would put $ in the coffers of a competitor.

If a box maker would not make a good buyer for IOM because of the market competition, why would the same competition endorse Sony's drive?
