In other words, why the plot was so badly organized, so it's even hard to recognize it as a plot?

First, Trump cannot organize or manage anything - this plot was an example of his mess.

Second, Trump is a coward, so his tried not to call directly for a plot and he was afraid to be directly associated with this plot, so it may look like as spontaneous protest of a mob.

Okay, then what precisely is the evidence of a plot?


Before I do work, let's see if the effort is likely to be productive. Let's start with something simple and obvious.

Can we agree that Trump et al put pressure on Pence to refuse to certify the election? Can we agree that a lot (147) of Members of Congress voted, effectively, to decline to certify?
