I suppose his claim of it being "literally a fact" doesn't sway you? My 103 year old aunt, who has been very healthy and only mildly dotty until the last week, is dead certain that her mom (who has been dead for 60 years) told her to come home by some hour. She has been progressively more agitated and nothing will calm her down. She is scared and lonely and sure that everybody is against her getting home as she promised her mom. She tried walking without her walker to escape the clutches of her care home and get home (the house where she grew up, which is on the other side of the country) and fell. Fortunately she didn't break anything. She, too, thinks she's dealing with literal facts.
