A better book: The Dysfunctional President, by Paul M. Fick. A practicing psychologist makes the case that President Clinton is naturally indecisive, has a strong tendency to lie, and creates chaos around him as a result of the abuse he experienced and witnessed at the hands of his alcoholic, philandering stepfather. Btw, Slick's given name was Blythe. Seems he changed it not so much to honor a man he emulated (the woman-abusing stepfather) but rather because it was a better sounding name for a politician. I guess he was looking to his political viability at a pretty tender age.
