Jyoti,

It seems universal. Markets up across all boards. Makes me wonder if its sustainable. But, in Malaysia there have been recent favorable comments from the U.S. Ambassador, the President of the world bank, and IMF officials about Malaysia's chances for a speedy recovery. Most of these occurred during the holidays so that maybe there was some pent up enthusiasm. There has also been a notable surcease in the West bashing from Dr. Mahatir. He has been very quiet for about 2 weeks now.

I dunno.

Best,
Stitch
