NN- getting slammed:

CSCO and ASND off a bit but I don't think that will last, I look for both stocks to close on the + side today!

habitual negative PR about ASND coming out of CSCO

Disney's moral from Bambi is applicable (and ASND mgmt should take heed as well): "If you don't have somethin nice to say, don't say anythin at all."

I would prefer to purchase from someone who sold me on the advantages of his/her product, rather than from someone who simply disparaged a competitor's product.

Pete,

I just got a call from FIDO to advise that 12 of my March 45 naked puts had been exercised, giving me 1,200 more shares of ASND (at a price of 45) offset by about 12 points per share from the sale of the puts (making the effective price of the stock about 33/share).

What with ASND now on an uptrend, why would anyone exercise the puts now? I'm actually happy they did, but I'm at a loss to figure why.

Gary Korn

P.S. I sold these puts long ago, when ASND was trading at about 36 or 37.
