Hi Phil the Power sale has been looming since mid-December and warned of here many times since Powers' 1/26/98 meeting

But : " I wouldn't be convinced by "bonds converted to stocks" speculation.

I don't mean to speculate , but why would the bondholders convert to stock at a low price (was to convert at $28/shr) and give up a sure 6% interest return with a significant loss of capital ?

Please read the applicable EDGARS (8/97 , 12/97 etc.) and let me know your feelings as their converted share volume is significant .

Is it not reasonable to assume their converted shares , now in trust of brokers , would be traded professionally in an attempt to recover capital ?

Thanks,
Jim K.
