My e-mail response from eSchwab regarding marginability was basically "we don't know-check back after the FRB list comes out." This is the 2nd time in the last few months I have put an important question to these guys through e-mail, so it's not like I'm constantly in their face. It's also the 2nd time I have received a totally unsatisfactory answer. At $29.95 a trade, I'm not sure what they think they have to offer. I'm in the process of changing brokers, but with a margin position, I have to wait until a few things close out, so it may be a long process. Any other eSchwab customer's opinion of the service would be of interest.
