John/ ok, so you won't name names but you will give hints. My hunch is still as before.

Some companies, including Renaissance, have been backing off on earlier indicated 1998 Capex plans. Startech is another company to significantly change earlier '98 spending plans. There are others.

You mention allusion to the possibility of future orders to UIC dependent upon current equipment performance results north of Edmonton. Will reduced capital expenditures in the oilpatch POSSIBLY mean something to Unitec's rosy SCADA projections?

Just a wonder......... I realize you may be able to spin it the other way too and say that potential increases to efficiency may mean "significant Canadian gas producers" will be able to spend wiser by buying technological tools that will lower current costs.

Also, a while back you mentioned possibility of obtaining copies of revised business plan re: UIC. When the document is available for public consumption I'd like to obtain a copy.

disclaimer: Holding a position in UIC and have been eyeing recent price wondering if I'm missing something.......... What is the market trying to say?
