Bill Miller says stock market is `roughly fairly valued,' likes Vroom, Desktop Metal
Apr. 20, 2021 1:22 PM ET General Motors Company (GM) By: Josh Fineman, SA News Editor 66 Comments

Famed investor Bill Miller said the General Motors (NYSE: GM) is very attractive. Miller also likes Vroom Inc. (NASDAQ: VRM), Desktop Metal (NYSE: DM) and Metromile (NASDAQ: MILE).

Miller highlighted that online used car seller Vroom has a $5B market cap with managment that helped build Bookings.com, a $100b market cap organization.

"Carvana (NYSE: CVNA) is the leader with a $45B market and Vroom is about three years behind Carvana with a much higher return on capital model," Miller said in i nterview on CNBC. "That's a name we think you could make multiple times on your money on in the next three or four years."

Miller sold GameStop (NYSE: GME) earlier this year when it was in the $70s. He said his cost basis on GME was about $4.

Miller said he doesn't own Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) anymore, though he should have kept it. He said the other FAANG stocks are attractive and the fund owns Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and Facebook (NASDAQ: FB).

Miller said the SPAC "game" is largely "winding down" now, though some SPACs are attractive here.

Miller says bitcoin is "digital gold."

"I don't think this is a bubble at all in bitcoin," Miller said. "This is the beginning of mainstreaming of it."

My call here Message 33264097 Was spot on for gold and silver if you take June 15 and not June 30 as the expiration date.

The call on BTC was horrible.

I said I was going out on a limb and you said it was a thick branch only a couple of feet off the ground, well now that ground appears shakey but I think it will hold.

I have know idea why gold is so weak and the almighty dollar is so strong. I can only remember the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

I am dipping a toe in ETH just for fun money.

Gold has been a store of value for thousands of years, should that change in my lifetime I can only say not only am I living in a simulation, whoever is running the simulation is fucking with me.

Prediction for December 31,2021. Gold 2025, silver 28.75 BTC 12,000
