Actually, my concept of 'right place - right time' means you DON'T FAIL. If you fail - one of the 2 aforemention was not RIGHT!

OK, so we have the OS, APP's, and HARDWARE! Where does IE fall, OS, APP's or HARDWARE? Is the INTERNET access part of the operating system since it is accessed as a 'resource', or is it an Application which functions 'between' the OS and the Internet (HARDWARE), or is it 'hardware' operated on by the OS? Little cloudy in my 'crystal ball'! Maybe we'll have IE-OS, IE-APP, IE-HD in each of the respective companies so that however you look at IE, we (MSFT) have a version for you! I suppose that they would each have to be developed independently in each company, not discussing the code, and being sure not to violate any copyrights of the other companies! Maybe the companies could spend a lot of time and money in litigation instead of writing code? (Boy am I having a good time now!) I wonder if the companies could 'sue' each other?

BTW, where would IE reside in your opinion? and why? (I think that I could 'defend' any placement as defined above!

Thoughts?
