Tom:

I do not think I have the time to respond to all mis-information. This maybe my last. This statement, "..the arrest of the prominent Chinese businessman" is untrue as far as I know; Wanandi was not arrested, he was questioned because at the blast site e-mails with Wanandi's name were discovered. Most (if not all) in the finance community criticize Habbi and so Wanandi being a critic adds no more information to the process of understanding whether or not Habbie will be the VP. Habbie is trying hard but he is utterly disliked by even the Military. I am not implying that Habbie will not be chosen; Suharto is known for surprises.

In any case, you and I seem to agree with the fact that the current perception of Indonesian economy is more political than anything else.
