And that is the problem. I keep harping on the long haulers because they potentially could be an enormous economic cost. And we just don't know much about them. Reasonably so, our focus has been on keeping people alive and not much has been looked at beyond that. But what has been learned is frightening. Now it very well may be that it turns out to be nothing, but it may not. There is some indications that we may never actually get beyond it and it become a chronic, how ever low level, situation. If true, and that study implicating the spike proteins proves out, well... COVID-19 has the potential to totally reshape society.
