Andy, The street is always a bit slow on the pickup. SA expects 2Q to be active with clinicals and by August there should be a far amount of action on NDAs and INDs. LGND is very cheap right now. I expect it to begin to move (but at least I know where to get the wine in case it doesn't) and we really haven't heard from the analysts yet (and they should jump on LGND's price). In 1995 when LGND was around 6, the analysts (Bear Stearns) and newsletters (MTSL and CTSL) became active and the price quickly doubled (without clinicals or NDAs). You may be surprised at how far and fast LGND can go as they begin a serious march toward profitability. And of course the board's pessimism is a strong indicator.
