But 38 states to ratify is a really tough uphill climb in the best of circumstances.
The smaller states as well as the "battleground states" would need to get something out of it, if we are to convince them that the Electoral College needs to go.

Democrats, of course, don't want to deal with that. Instead, they argue that the Constitution itself is an archaic document that was written to preserve slavery. Even the Electoral College itself was supposedly created to appease the slave-holding states, according to the revisionists who believe in Critical Race Theory.

I'll never get tired of posting this screenshot, because to the Democrats, that's all the Constitution represents to them. A prop.
