I agree. Kiting is much easier to learn than windsurfing and you don't need a large van to carry multiple boards, sails, masts etc. around in. That is a kite surfer can use regular cars AND they are much easier to take on trips. Add in the young like all that so there are much more young kids, especially women, into kiting.

But, as I said, one site I sailed at a lot before Google traffic made the site further away with more challenging conditions about the same total travel plus get gear to the water time... did not allow kiting. Now I'd recommend wing foiling as it seems to be less gear and maybe more fun than them all.
