Socialism means a HAND UP... assures that that only the entitled get a shot... so many entitled dumb asses are in positions of power because of entitlement.. NOT ability or brains.. Communism in the strictest Marxist sense actually wants control of all production .. I think we can easily agree that that is just plain ridiculous... Entitlement of a different sort will be rewarded there.. Socialism REQUIRES a healthy and vibrant capitalist system.. otherwise it cannot work... Unfettered Communism kills society in general... a does unfettered capitalism... Both end up promoting largely on connections (entitlement) not ability ...... I for example do not believe my Prime Minister Mr. Trudeau became Prime Minister based on ANY inherent ability .. simply a pretty face and a name held in esteem by many Canadians .. but not me... Mr. Trudeau is an example of success through entitlement...
