Depends on what you mean by better.

In my value system, I feel more charitable toward the delusional. Lying is malicious, anathema.

But in terms of which is more dangerous, probably the delusional.

There are lot's of people on Death Row or just in prison that say they are innocent........OJ maintains his innocence.....sure
Adolph Eichmann proclaimed his innocence.....
