As for whether we long-termers would leave simply because J & M became a little more selective in posting, nah.

Ken:

I'm glad that you have raised this issue, because I do think it's an important concern for shareholders. We seem to be having a good discussion so far.

I would disagree with your assessment that changing the disclosure policy by DCI management would have no fallout. First, I'm not clear what you mean by a little more selective, so I may be reading more into your statement than you intended. But here's my slant. There are all kinds of investors with all kinds of strategies. And I think that our strategies reflect our personalities. Some investors are more objective, others become more "attached" to their investments. Some investors are "hands off" and care only about results. While others are "hands on" and enjoy a sense of participation in a companies evolution. My point is simply that DCI has evolved along a certain path, and its evolution has attracted a certain type of investor. Any significant change in the nature of relations between management and investors is bound to have an influence on the balance of who stays and who goes. As I mentioned in a previous post, the open dialogue between DCI and investors was a very important selling point for me. I'm a hands on kinda guy, and I like the exchange of information and the sense of participation that it gives me. I'm in no way saying that if the information line is cut off that I'm gone. I'm just pointing out that I think that change begets change.

I didn't intend to get so philosophical. Oh well.
