Well, Amerada Hess is based in NYC or is it Jersey. Mobil, Exxon, Atlantic Richfield, Cities Services (Built a building off Wall Street) all use to HQ out of NYC, until recent years. Most companies maintain an office now their for access to the financial markets and NYMEX and Merc. That is where crude and products are bot and sold. However, you would think they would move to N.O., Dallas, Tulsa, O.K. City, Denver or Houston, which are now the big oil company cities in the US. Hell Mobil moved to Fairfax, Va.????? Does make you stop and wonder though. I hate this spell checking feature.
