Jerkoff short is offering 40000 shares at the 6 3/4 level. Stock has only traded 37700 all day! This guy is an butthole. I can't believe ZE is allowing this to continue.

Spoke to Kevin:

1)10Q/10K referred to OLD patents and not to VSB.

2)Patents cover intellectual property. It is his opinion that the VSB situation is secure. Unlike the TV tuner patents that expire in 2003, VSB is mandated by the government and as such it may be ironclad. A company could develop a way around the aforementioned tuner patent, albeit at great developmental expense. On the other hand, to even consider a way around VSB would be a financial disaster, likely costing exponentially greater than the intended savings. In addition, if it could be done without patent infringement at all!!

3)Don't expect ZE to announce anything without Gannon assessing the situation and having a hand in what is announced.

4)ZE is aware of the shorts. Kevin said someone else called him yesterday about it. Any of you all?

5)Kevin reiterated that "any CE/PC device that either transmits or receives VSB...ZE will get a licensing royalty"
