I own a bit of HTD in my taxable account but I really like UTG since it pays 6% monthly and has provided better overall yield when cap gains are figured in. I keep adding to UTG when I can.

Yes. About the only sector doing worse is energy, which is strange, given that oil just broke above $70.

Low interest rates should be making utilities attractive, for a couple of reasons:
1. Many utilities carry high debt loads.
2. If you think of them as a bond proxy, 3% yield looks good given the 10y treasury yield.
