If I may make a suggestion. I believe most of the issues you discussed in your post originated from Apple Recon (or some such "rumor" site). I wouldn't take such musings to heart. I would be more concerned with what Apple SAYS, and how well they execute. From this perspective, Jobs' record is excellent.
I would guess that Steve Jobs is working over-time to make sure that important info does not leak, as it has in the past. He's the King of Surprises, and it's clear that he fully understands their value and how to use them to advantage. Let's let Jobs run Apple, not Apple Recon or MacOS Rumors.
