The 4th quarter earnings for Cerner will be released this afternoon (2/4/98) after market close according to investors relations. The strong upward movement near the end of trading yesterday indicated anticipation of strong earnings for the 4th quarter. Cerner has traded down somewhat today in the early trading. I am not aware of any indication of earnings from the company. According to the latest information of near mid-January, there is a large short position in Cerner of over 2 million shares. The last two months have seen a large increase in the short interest in Cerner. Bill Turnage

I think those Feb 25 options are even cheaper now :-)
