The best case scenario is that the mosquitos adapt and life goes on as usual. The middle case scenario is that a part of the Everglades food chain is disrupted, but species manage to work around it (IE some other small insect manages to fill the gap). The worst case scenario is that the entire everglades food chain collapses causing billions in tourism and fishing economic loses.
