The other option is global cooling with CME events. Zarkova has the Earth cooling in a Maunder minium type event extended probably over decades. Now big solar flares do occur. Example in the " Carrington Event - Wikipedia" in 1859 the EM storm was so intense big thick telegraph cables got fried with excessive induced currents. We can expect a lot of silicon chips with modern chip densities to possibly go down even with a very moderate and normal flare. The result could be bad, and a lot of satellites will be turned into space junk instantly. That could be a problem.

yep, i agree with your concern about the climate and solar effects. i fondly remember the first 'earth day': earthday.org started recycling in the early 1980s and have been attuned to 'earth' health since then. yep, many humans violate the earth... and i wouldn't be surprised by a cme that wipes out lots of electromagnetic systems. primativism may become the new new. kunstler's been on it for awhile: kunstler.com

Our understanding of the sun and solar cycle functions in interaction with the solar system... and with the space that the system travels through... is still rudimentary... But, we see now that lowering solar output also means lowering the "magnetic shield" of the planet that is induced by its reaction to larger solar output... As we get less solar radiation... we get more cosmic radiation... The sun heats the surface... but cosmic radiation might do more to heat "the planet" itself... thus, a dramatic rise in volcanism results from "cooling" of the sun... And, increased volcanism... means more emissions of sulfurous gases... lots of fine particulates ... even without another Krakatoa event... we might see increasingly difficult winters... and, at some point, perhaps even re-enter an ice age... if the suns output stays at a lower level... and the planet heats up enough in result to cause an ice age... Climate changes all the time. It always has. Climate alarmism depends, first, on convincing you that the climate "should be" stable and is supposed to be unchanging... which is just moronic... but, has as its secondary purpose convincing you that we should take control of the climate ourselves... to eliminate the natural variation... by controlling it ourselves... even though we don't know how it works. If they flat out proposed "climate control"... because we can... the same people who rail against climate change now... would (rightly) all be up in arms about the plan to manipulate the climate... And, the legal liability for "mistakes" made in manipulating it ? That would be prohibitive... So, they generate this fraud about climate change... to get you to go along with letting them manipulate it... without knowing what they're doing... because "saving us from climate change"... Again, moronic... But, the risk from allowing deliberate manipulation of the climate... when we have no clue how it works... VASTLY larger than tolerating the normal variation... Bill Gates wants to surround the planet with reflective nanopowders... to "save" us ? Could put us into an endless ice age and wipe out all plant life on the earth... They're not doing it "to save us"... They're doing it to seek money and power... seek to control you... to control the flows of money in the economy... and they might well kill us all in the process... because they're morons.
