Brian, just my opinion:

I think CVUS is being valued strictly on the perceived value of their license and not as an on going concern. I have a lot of doubt where the company will head if not bought for their license. They're being run by venture capitalist and technology developers. They need to bring some top notch teleco guys into top management if they want to be taken serious, much like Teligent landing Mandl.

That said, a lot is hinging on the auction. If it were, god forbid, delayed again, CVUS would be back to 4 or 5. I think there is a lot of confusion because names like AT&T, Sprint, British Telecom, the Baby Bells, etc, didn't show up on the bidders list. They're probably there, just hiding behind the partnerships or new LMDS division names. Bill Gates bidding was just pure speculation and big money obviously doesn't believe it. If the new list comes out this week of the names behind the bidders, and these names show up, then I think you'll see the bounce.

Other than the auction news, other news sounds negative, ie assumption of more debt, delaying of financing until after the auction.

If Bernard is reading, maybe he'll add his two cents worth. I respect his opinion more than my own.
