Science and belief have been bucking heads for over 5-centuries now. It's not going to stop anytime soon.

There are people who also genuinely feel the vaccines may not be safe, since there have been no long-term studies done on them yet. Everyone taking the vaccines are by definition the Phase 3 trials now. These vaccines are still not FDA-approved, although I'm sure they eventually will be. You do realize that in 5 months there have been more deaths in the US since the introduction of these vaccines than in the last 10 years of all other vaccines combined? That's despite that there have been ~3B vaccines given in the last 10 years vs. 300M COVID vaccinations. That's straight from the VAERS data from the CDC website. That doesn't raise some eyebrows for you? And that's short-term effects only, as we haven't had a chance yet to study or know long-term effects.

These people aren't "hard-headed" just because you say they are, or because anyone else says they are. There are plenty of doctors and scientists who feel the same way. These people are concerned for their health, their loved ones' health, and the health of all those taking the vaccines. So you can call them selfish if you like and if that makes you feel superior and better about yourself, but that's just your perspective. These people also believe there are other ways to treat COVID, and there are studies that back up those beliefs. I don't expect we're going to agree, and that's fine, but understand there are other perspectives, and yours isn't necessarily right. Let's revisit this in a few years and then we'll know the real answer.
