Hello Thomas
Been following your discussion on the Asian currencies over the last
few weeks and have a question about currencies....hoping you might be
able to add some insight....seeing as you live in Zurich and have
international banking connections.

Here is a link to a question a while back...It is not directly an
Asian topic, but I believe, if it occurs it will have enormous effect on
Asian currencies and also on their ability to regain a stronge manufacturing
base.

I have run accross referances that the base for the new currency maybe be a
surprize for those holding dollars.....? That consideration has been
given to establishing a stronger foundation for this new currency.
If the dollar were turned upside down by very a stronge Eruo...I think
Asia might will be hampered even further in returning to sound footing.

Any thoughts on the coming ERUO
Thanks
Chip

The Euro-effect, from fragmentation to integration.AHOLD (AHO) a buy?

Thomas: Here is an interesting article about the effect of the impending 'Euro' is having in the European retail market place.

You think AHOLD NV-(Dutch) (NYSE:AHO) is good long term play. I always liked the company and their strategy. The company is expanding furiously, now have presence not only across Europe, but U.S.A and now they are spreading their wings into South America. Growth seems to be very healthy both in terms of revenue and earnings.Any thoughts?
