I do know Fort Detrick was shut down in Sept 2019 due to repeated infractions and unsafe practices, because NYT said so, along with WAPO and WSJ, and so likely true. I also know Wuhan lab is operating as usual, and receiving visitors. D3 makes things worse.>> I believe this to be the case, but as all different domains are adopting different measures, we should know at some juncture what be best practice. Shutting down the economy is likely not the way, and just rushing into the mist probably also counterproductive also. Folks misunderstand China's practice. The practice specifically is (i) control rapidity of spread that could overwhelm healthcare system, (ii) test test test, so that one knows the spread, and isolate the danger, (iii) social-distance and get on with the economy, and (iv) vaccinate to further reduce rapidity and severity of spread. The practice might not work wonders, but arguably works.

The issue is that from the many corona viruses floating around somehow one of them developed in not a natural way a spike that is... As far as determining origins... the issue includes that you can't trust any of the bogus "testing" being done to claim this here, that there, on a particular date... without solid proofs of the particulars... that the supposed "tests" are incapable of delivering... "Testing issues" have been a problem throughout the suppression efforts... when mass testing was conducted using inadequate tools... leading to lots of false positives. But, that's not in question, in the issue here, since those tools are totally useless in conducting scientific surveys in relation to origins... which will have to use more robust tools that actually enable real "science" being done... vs political posturing... This virus has mutated many times already since February 2020 when people were forced to become aware of it... If it existed in some form that pre-dated the initial outbreak in Wuhan... you have a series of difficult tests to pass in proving why it became the problem it did only in Wuhan... and just sort of went away in other places it is claimed now pre-dated Wuhan ? So, I don't care about obviously bogus claims about other places "testing positive"... based on bogus tests that don't provide information on anything real or useful in relation to... WHAT virus... which strain... what proteins on the spikes... in each instance. Show there was a virus in Italy in 2019 ? What virus was it ? What was the specific makeup of the protein complement, what was the genetic variation versus others ? Without that sort of information... you have no information that matters... None of that prevents "a" virus from pre-dating the one that became the origin of the Wuhan outbreak ? Others might have been made in lab and released to test them... before the escape or release of the particularly modified virus that is the one that first became a problem in Wuhan ? But, the answers to questions like that... depend on samples showing the ACTUAL VIRUS... with the map of its proteins, etc. And, on it goes... Why was California a hotspot, early on... why a particular spot in Washington State ? Known links to Wuhan in the Washington State instance appear to answer that... but more might be done to tease out the origins in the contacts of those people... Where did they get it, in Wuhan... and from whom ? Were any of the Washington State cluster... associates of the people in the lab there ? Perhaps a lot of that work has been done... to no effect ? If so, we should hear that ? If not... why not ? The efforts I see... are mostly functional only in fostering obfuscation... not illumination.
