After the deal is consummated there won't be any dec shares trading. The dec shares will become an asset on cpq's balance sheet. In light of this fact I think the new dec thread ought not to be called anything at all - it should simply go to that great land of deceased threads in the sky.

RE: "Du..these DEC'ers are pretty ungrateful for our efforts! " I/we have not only trashed the CPQ board. The first thing I wrote about the CPQ board was very positive. I found many stellar postings. The next day I came back and waded through 50 or more messages that said no more than, "hey dorkman" or something to that extent. I just read over 15 messages YOU posted TODAY since 10AM and found only 1 message worth of information and the rest was chatter. We would like our board COMdec or whatever to have at least 80% content. Do any other CPQ regulars (or lurkers) have an opinion on this? Thanks for the 1 message worth of content. I will keep reading here for the great postings some contribute. gd
