I just got back from Cancun. S3 probably had a big hammer over Intel because Intel wanted to buy Chips. Maybe a Intel and S3 cut a verbal deal allowing S3 to outbid Intel.

Anyway, now ask yourself who might be interested in S3. AMD and Compaq have been rumored. Ask yourself: Why? I've repeatedly spoken of S3 trading at below book with the value of the fab understated on the books and the cash per share on hand. Now on top of this S3 has the Cirrus and Exponential patents. Don't forget S3 is spending about $80 million a year on R & D. Gotta be something there in value.

1.5 Millions of its shares traded so far.
It is trading at $5.84. It is continually
heading up. We will see its day high at the
end of day. The news is very positive.
