Paul: Re; Exponential patents.
Who says Silicon Valley isn't incestual?
Based on my instincts, I think Gordon Campbell, former Intel marketing guru, founder of C&T, (from which S3 spun off), and founder of Exponential, has his imprint all over this. Interesting that Intel buys C&T and S3 gets Exponentials patents. I'm sure Gordy maintained close ties with Intel through the years. Wonder if Gordon has any S3 stock? Is it a buy at these depressed prices?
Just my thoughts.

Paul, I'm interested in any opinion you might have on why S3 picked up the Exponential patents: to become a more attractive take-over target, to cut a deal with Intel in the graphics segment, te develop MPUs, etc.
