Profits,

Re: "AMD did not get it's process technology, it any way shape or form ... AMD's
process technology is world class."

Now that's a "hoot", Profits ... BTW, I just pulled up a chart of AMD stock
price for the last 15 years. It looks like AMD has gained a total of
$1.50/share over that entire time ... World class technology, yeah right.

Make It So,
Yousef

UnProfits'albe...The Intellafellons are convinced life for Intel would be a bowl of "cherries" were it not for AMD. Fact of the mater is that any monoply (Intel no exception)which operates at oligopic profit margins will attract competition. If is's not AMD they it will be NSM, if not NSM... GE How long do you think GE is going to sit back and let Intel take over as largest Capped stock without a rebutal. Any fortune 500 manufacturing company larger than amd is a potential acquirrer of AMD. Unless you think Semiconductors is a dead end industry. Intellofellons should welcome AMD as conpetetive forces keep Intel sharper than it would otherwise be. Instead of thanking AMd and us AMDer's they berate us with Intellacrap, and unfounded stories of AMd ineptness. AMD is doing fine! So it get a C for last year instead of an A. They still makde a lot of progress with K-6 and others products. so they missed there production forcast... they still managed to get out 75% of what they said. Fab 25 will be converted to .25 and AMd will do just fine inspite of their dumb decision to sell their chip at a 25% discount.
