Hi Bob

Here is COHU on the chart. It is an under performer the past five years but maybe that makes it a nice acquisition target.

The good news is it roughly doubled the performance of SPY so not a bad investment by any stretch.

Thanks for the suggestion.
You have my permission top put this in your investment newsletter. <smile>
I noticed from the chart that its big pullback this year looks very similar to IIVI's pullback ... IIVI successfully integrated Finisar ahead of schedule and is now working on a much larger acquisition. I already bought back SOME profit taking shares and may buy more as it fell 50% so between announcing the Finisar acquisition and completing the deal so I could get another shot.

I'm not sure what "moat" COHU has compared to the Silicon Carbide foundry business that will soar with all the smart, high power semiconductors needed for things like 5G, 6G, self driving cars, fast battery charging, high powered lasers, etc.

Given the similar charts and much deeper moat, thus potential for higher LT return in my view, of IIVI, I'd rather not dilute my attention to what I put into trading its volatility.
