Starowl,

Since nobody mentioned it, let me share some thoughts on my view of ADPT's technology forum early this week. I was only CC for first half day of the three days session. CEO, CFO, VP engineering and GM of SCSI product were all there to talk about how "Bandwidth management" is the future of technology. GM of SCSI was actually quite bullish about SCSI business. She illustrated a year-ot-year sequential grow chart of SCSI shipment. Initially, I was hoping ADPT would take this opportunity to make some kind of announcement, new products or new business, but it did not happen as I have wished. Product wise, I saw a lot of RAID products. This is quite different from ADPT 2 years ago. There were also 1394 and FC demo, but don't know when they could start generating revenue. VP engineering mentioned that Ultra2 chip is doing quite well and is in volume production. ADPT currently is also working on Ultra3 which could transfer 160MB/S.

That's the summary of my half day adventure. No good news, but management team seems confident.
