Satyr......There's still plenty of room for growth in other countries....Also, from what I've been reading it seems to be generally understood that the fastest growing, and most profitable sector of the PC market is the enterprise sales/services...the exact reason CPQ bought DEC....I read somewhere that if CPQ tried to develop their own enterprise business up to a really competetive/leading edge kind of business it would take at least two or more years....By buying DEC it gives them the POTENTIAL to move into that market, with dominance highly likely, in that same two year time frame.....Of course the street will want to see some serious axe-weilding by CPQ to cut away all the deadwood, redundancy and leave just the areas that are truly beneficial for this company to realize that goal....I think the street is showing confidence in this company by it's current stock appreciation.....I think it's highly likely they will be THE leader in 2-3 years that all other company's will be trying to play catch-up to..........George

Seriously I hope your right but I wouldn't count on the same type of appreciation of the market as a whole that we have seen in recent years. I do believe that CPQ will continue to move forward but not at the explosive rates of past years."

They've been saying the same thing about Microsoft for years and MSFT keeps on going.
