Ok genius. Puzzle me this (this is from a Jan. 20, 1998 news release from PDG):

Placer Dome announces delay of next stage of Las Cristinas construction

Vancouver, Canada - Placer Dome Inc. announces that its operating company in Venezuela, Minera Las Cristinas C.A. (MINCA) (PDG 70%, CVG 30%) has decided to suspend mine construction activity at the Las Cristinas gold property in Venezuela until the Supreme Court of Venezuela ratifies its decision of July 15, 1997 declaring inadmissible the challenge by Inversora Mael, C.A. to MINCA's gold mining rights.

MINCA holds the gold rights to the Cristinas 4 and 6 concessions in south-eastern Venezuela where it is developing the project at a capital cost of about US$600 million.

So if it's quite 'normal' to only have work contracts iso full concessions why then, after almost 8 years on the project, are they still telling their shareholders they have full concession rights when in fact they do not?

CVG didn't issue the "rights" to drill. MEM issued those rights and passed them onto CVG!

And the MEM did so illegally! Thus CVG has them illegally and thus PDG is left holding squat.

You cannot get title to property in Venezuela.

Guess you know more than the Supreme Court then oh wiser one. The Supreme Court has on three separate occasions validated I. Mael's TITLE to Las Cristinas.

c) PDG new that they were drilling on KRY property, but thought they could get away with it

Again, I guess English not being your first language, you did not understand what I wrote. Or you're too thick -- your choice. PDG 'new' nothing of the sort. KRY had nothing to do with this property when PDG started drilling. I. Mael owned it and yes, PDG thought "who cares who really owns this property"? We have the good ole' boys in the CVG to take care of us.

First language is Cree, sorry for the englais pale face!

First language is Italian. Sorry for talking over your head red face!

This conversation is OVER! No need to respond as your total ignorance deserves no further response. Take it elsewhere pal.
