Yeah, I too have friends AND FAMILY on both extremes. I used to think that those who leaned hard right were also the very religious and least intelligent, but then one of my relatives my age who is highly educated in physics and other "tough" subjects semi retired from tech at the same time as I did in 1978 and went to divinity school and became a pastor. He leans so hard to the left I can't talk politics with him... he'd get so animated bashing Bush that spit came out his mouth during an Easter lunch! So I guess I am "dumb" on this point thinking those who disagree with me are morons (even if they are! LOL)

I'll have to debunk that! I grew up in a Democratic family.. Believe in the right to work . Which most Democratic cities are controlled by Democrat Unions, and if you aren't part of the family .Forget about a job.. I've been conservative since before Ronald Reagan. Retired at 55 on a high school education. Of course being raised in the Boston public school system in the 60's . My Education was worth more than most college education today. Nothing to do with Genetics all about opportunity and the American Dream and not succumbing to the Democratic victim mentality.
