Politically, I am fiscally conservative and socially libertarian. Once upon a time that meant a split ticket. That era ended long time ago. Not that I care one iota about either party. But one should pay more attention to what they do than what they say. And yes, GOP wanting to hand out $2000 checks in December was a prudent insurance. But Biden's is a reckless squander of the treasury. Trump pushing to leave Afghanistan in May was a great statesmanship ending our forever wars. Biden doing it is the end of American leadership. Funny how the partisan lens warps everything. Like I said, the meal is the same. The side dishes and the decor change. And somehow people think they are getting different nutrients. Oh well.
