This is a pretty amazing table from the POTUS web site.

Showing my bias for age, I thought both Clinton and Obama were about the right age ... Clinton is a bit older than me and Obama is younger. Late 40s is also a good age for CEOs where many are forced to retire at 65.

Joe Biden was the oldest president sworn-in at 78 years 61 days.
John F. Kennedy was the youngest elected president at 43 years 236 days.
After McKinley died, Theodore Roosevelt became the youngest president at 42 years 322 days.
William Henry Harrison became the oldest president at 68 years 23 days in 1841. He held that record for 140 years when, in 1981, Ronald Reagan was sworn in at 69 years 348 days.
On average presidents are sworn in at 55 years old.
