Ah sh_t, I guess you're right Dances With Words, my ego won't allow me to shut up.

Ok, where to begin. First off, let me just say that your explanation of work contracts is actually very interesting and informative. I thank you for that. I will humbly bow to your greater expertise in this area. (Hope you can appreciate this cause it's not often I'm humble.)

But you are getting incredibly tied down with semantics here Big Chief. I have never stated that anyone owns title to the mining concessions. I simply said I. Mael had title to Las Cristinas ... nothing more, nothing less. MEM knew this when they awarded the mining rights to MINCA and so did PDG when they got involved.

BTW, I seem to recall that BXM went through a bit of a testicle squeeze when Indonesia threatened NOT to convert those work contracts. So I do NOT think it's as automatic as you make it seem.

And it appears that this is your major problem with me: What you consistently fail to comprehend is that I find your defense, of KRY right and title to the 4&6 justified by "producing in your vivid magination an evil empire scenario" rediculous!

Evil empire? What evil empire? I am calling a spade a spade. Both CVG and PDG engaged in corrupt practices and did not feel the winds of change in Venezuela. They got bit in the ass for these practices and are now paying the price. This is all I am saying and this is what YOU fail to understand. I could give a damn about PDG otherwise. (BTW, there are plenty of people in the world who would in fact emphatically apply an 'Evil Empire' label to PDG. Their environmental record truly stinks.)

forever yours

Christ, I hope not.
