Some years ago I spent a lot of time in the UK and mainland Europe.

I went back via Amsterdam to the UK a few years back. Had to do a bit of driving through England. I was stunned by the numbers of wind turbines. Big ones, I think mostly 5 mega watts each, approximately. I like em but I like machines.

Like everywhere they were.

As I flew out of Amsterdam it was clear, I looked down and I think I was looking at this.

Never been up in one, should put it on my bucket list, for another power experience. And listen to the noises, including those humming blades. That would be kool!

By the way we humans bury a chit load of junk. A professor told me something many years ago, "Fortunately mother earth is pretty good at cleaning itself up!" The blades are composites which are widely used today for various, including huge airplanes. But you are correct I think in that these materials are not presently readily recycled. Buried they might last for eons, in original buried state.

I would get a small wind turbine, but no workee at my place. Just too calm too much of time. I lived a spell in a windy area. I will take the no wind turbine place that I have, over all the wind.

Siemens now has a 7 mega watt and larger units out now. Impressive machines imo.

You’ll be happy to know your supercharger isn’t causing global warming in one of the hottest cities in America… Las Vegas!!

Can you imagine this all-time record for number of days between 100 degree F being broken exactly 3 months ago, with all the black asphalt installed in this city the last 60 years? Brother Bill’s geo-engineering program coupled with a maunder-minimum type solar cycle the last 10 years is taking its toll?
