I know it is tradeable.. LOL but cannot fathom the issue.. if the US EVER defaulted for REAL.. what would they be.. OH Ya that also ran trying to pretend greatness, Britain LOl Britain does no longer count.. The US is I think smarter than that.. 1776 proved it ... although they still have not figured out China which is admittedly complicated.. Thank goodness Russia, Japan and NK are so simple .. The fact Mcconnell and the Republicans are playing chicken with the debt ceiling and our economy is beyond terrible. They know it needs to get done for us and the entire world, yet tell us we have to do it alone. That is the type of insanity the dirt bag Republicans have engaged in for over a hundred years. After the depression one? Republican said: "Let the depression run, it gets rid of the deadwood>" That has been their mantra since the 1800's. They are such a bunch of fucking assholes!! Why anyone would ever be in that party mystifies me? The fuck over the workers, they fuck over the minorities, and they fuck over the women.
