Ron, "(and do it in public like the old days)" . England used to have the death penalty for pickpockets. They hung them publicly, too. They had to give up the practice because of the number of pickpockets who worked the crowd. I don't think the public thing is a good idea. It would almost assuredly lead to more violence. Regards, AD
