Too bad the survey was limited to the five largest companies. Had there been ten in the survey, BAY could have been #10. Assets - Worst BAY's Overall Rank - Worst in Class Back end BAY can be relied on to bring up the rear - even Cabletron is ranked higher overall! *The survey is comprised of 476 Fortune 1,000 companies, divided into 55 distinct industry groups. More than 12,000 senior executives, outside directors, and financial security analysts were asked to grade the ten largest companies (or in some cases fewer) in their own industry on eight key attributes of reputation. Those scores, each on a one-to-ten scale, were equally weighted and combined to give an aggregate score for every company.
