The charts I posted, show that commodity bull markets can last for 10+ years. Constraints on new supply, or increasing demand, can last that long.

Your statement < the price of every commodity should drop to its cost of production> is true only during commodity bear markets. Even then, it is an over-broad generalization, with lots of counter-examples.
