She keeps telling you don't have to prewash, I'm anal and do.


Copper, our 72 pound Treeing Walker Coonhound, takes care of prewashing. LOL! Just kidding. I prewash also (after he's done) and the filter stays amazingly clean. Maybe once a year I check it. I don't know how it works but seldom if ever is anything visible in the first filter (bottom of tub).

add a cap full of bleach from bottle cap to load of dishes and see how white dishes get.
